We came across this video* - it was an interview done by HR professionals on the role of HR in 2025 and why HR analytics are important.
Key take-aways from the interview are:
HR can and will become more and more strategic!!!
HOW:
By equipping themselves with business acumen and leveraging HR analytics to be “more numerically and analytically-focused” so that they can make number-based decisions.
WHY:
Because “leadership lives in the world of numbers, data and analysis. if HR wants to be in that space, we have to be in-sync”. This is a very powerful statement and reason for our fellow HR professionals to see the importance of HR analytics and data.
HR analytics give HR power to influence and help leadership.
